St. Paul Saloon
About This Spot
Walking into St. Paul Saloon feels like stepping into a familiar neighborhood spot that wears its character with quiet confidence. There’s an easy-going energy that hums beneath the surface—whether it’s a casual weekday night or a livelier weekend gathering. The space opens up warmly, especially when the large patio outside invites guests to settle in and share stories under an open sky. Inside, the music flows—a mix that swings from classic R&B to the unexpected tunes of the jukebox—setting a backdrop that’s spirited without demanding attention.
This is a place where the pace feels unhurried, where crowds blend with the friendly chatter of locals and newcomers alike. The bartenders, when at their best, guide the experience with a sense of genuine hospitality, making the room feel less like a bar and more like an extension of someone’s living room. People come here not just for a quick drink but to pause and enjoy the little details that make everything more comfortable: a well-played pool game, a thoughtfully crafted cocktail, or a hearty plate arriving just when you need it.
The food here matches that aim perfectly. It’s straightforward, honest, and built around good moments shared across the table. Whether it’s a crispy basket of tater tots loaded with toppings that invite a few laughs, wings with just enough kick to keep you coming back, or tacos that speak to the kitchen’s quiet attention to bold flavors—all of it carries the warmth of a kitchen that values simple pleasures. Specials like an affordable taco night or a “build your own” burger offer a relaxed way to dig in without fuss, keeping things light and welcoming.
St. Paul Saloon doesn’t rush its guests. It’s a bar & grill meant for lingering, whether losing track of time over a cold Bloody Mary or catching up with friends in a space that embraces the everyday rhythms of the neighborhood. It’s a spot where the authenticity of place and people shines through—all woven together with good food, easy conversation, and a sense of belonging.

Your experience here will vary greatly depending on the bartender and the day of the week. Amanda is great but I'm not sure shes still working there. The food is really simple and good but can be slow. The music is pretty loud as long as the jukebox is on. There is a nice, fairly large patio outside.

The $6 burger basket came out fast and was great! I ordered lettuce, tomato and onion and it was all crisp and fresh; the tots were cooked perfectly. Wish I didn't have to go back to work, a beer would have made it perfect.

A good place for a group. It's not that big but on nice days the outdoor patio and smoke area helps with that. Pool table, darts, pool tabs, and the bartenders are cool. They serve good pub food. No deejay but the jukebox has a variety of music. We've played cards and dance around.
